The INSPIRE Mission and Vision…
As President Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, “We cannot always build our future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.” In recent years, STEM-based education organizations have become an up-and-coming force for change, inspiring youth; and fostering technical, presentational, and personal growth. Among these organizations, the robotics institution FIRST Lego League (FLL), has taken STEM learning by storm with over 318 thousand annual youth participants, ranging from the ages of four to sixteen. They operate under the mission of “Inspiring youth through hands-on STEM learning.” However, there is an emerging issue within the organization's reach and youth accessibility.
For many kids around the world, their communities do not have the funds to introduce expensive programs like these and often lack the financial means for sufficient exposure to STEM-based learning. But what can we do to make a difference? Meet Spartans Project INSPIRE. A non-profit with the vision of guiding youth in finding their passion for STEM through FIRST programs such as FLL. It aims to reach these goals through a collection of resources for kids of all ages, as well as the establishment of long-term FLL teams in communities devoid of FIRST programs. This will involve both the sponsorship of these youth teams as well as face-to-face time, with experienced members of the Spartans FTC team, helping and guiding kids through every step of their journey on the road to competition, success, and beyond.

Throughout the season Project INSPIRE provides kids with access and exposure to:
Unlimited access to Spartans digital resources and lessons, encompassing all skills and dynamics of a successful FLL team.
Once a week sessions with students, in which students learn, brainstorm and develop their robots and innovation projects.
A Lego robot kit, game board, game manuals, and other essential materials will be provided to students during sessions. Students will also get to customize and purchase their own team t-shirts.
But ultimately, under piles and piles of legos, this small non-profit has, and will always have, a core vision of increasing exposure and access to STEM, so that every child can find their love for Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and more.
But what can you do?
The Spartans Project INSPIRE is non-profit. This means that the money that goes into establishing these teams is largely from generous donors, just like you! Every fifty dollars donated can provide all the necessary materials for a child to begin their journey in robotics and STEM. So what are you waiting for?
